Sky tv here in Britain has commissioned a second series of Project Catwalk, but Liz Hurley has lost the presenting job and it's gone to that Osbourne girl, not Sharon, the fat blonde daughter. Kelly, that's her name. I try to suppress it.

Oh Manolo! I am waiting with the proverbial bated breath for PRIII. The singers, dancers, and wannabe chefs we've been offered this season just haven't cut the mustard! Or the muslin, for that matter. Long live Seal....and Heidi too.

"Lowlife" is a fantastic read.

I also recommend "The Big Con: The Story of the Confidence Man" with an intro by Luc Sante. First printed in 1940, it disects common cons perpetrated for centuries and continuing today with only slight changes in method (Niger email scam artists are a good example of that and The New Yorker recently did a story on a victim of that scam. The poor fellow is bankrupted and going to prison and yet still believes some of the con artists were honest/real people).

Manolo, have you been following those two old ladies arrested for insurance fraud with strong evidence of murder? Alright, the desertwind is fascinated by con artists and those who fall for the con.

Oh! and PR3 is gonna be fun, isn't it?
