At this time, (832PMCST) it still says “no comments”.
That is a good thing-and if only we could ignore this and it would go away.
Yet I fear that this is but the tip of an iceberg which is going to drown us all
in a sea of unloveliness forever.
As China and that part of the world ‘catches up’, we will see even more craven aping of sartorial abomination by those nations just emerging from the soil.
Ive already seen it before my eyes in eastern Europe after the fall,
and in other countries suddenly thrust into what is refered to as ‘the global market place’
Perfectly good human energy will be wasted in copying wholesale the absolute WORST of what we have to offer-and they accesorize with borrowed attitudes the cant possibly understand into the bargain.
Do I have any bourbon left?
I fear all the more that Arnold “weppy” Crok, of CrokCorp USA is already licking his chops at the prospect of a 1+billion market he can shod with his…ok.-Ill leave off the invective and lament here. I realize that there are those among us who love those shoes.
Besides, I feel a Manhattan coming on!

They are radio DJ’s from Hong Kong called the Softhard Angels. Here’s a link to one of the members, Jan Lamb, on Wikipedia.

  3. MoneyMiss Says:

Erm. Even my feet aren’t that big.

  4. Eric 'Spanner' Says:

Another guy is Eric Kot. The foto was shot at their first joint concert and talk show, and they are celebrating their 18th anniversay (of pairing).

  5. Chairman of the Bored Says:

If anyone thought that I was being merely feculent in my above comment, or was suffering from anticipatory ague at the prospect of a manhattan made of ‘corn squeezinz’ please look at this link. A picture tells a thousand words. …pour yourself a stiff one first:

  6. Ninjarina Says:

It’s SOFTHARD! They’re the original pioneers of HK rap. It’s very satirical and funny stuff, not like that edgy stuff of LMF or Edison Chen.

  7. salmonella Says:

    Softhard Softhard Softhard!!!
Am sooo…. waiting for the concert DVD to come out!
