Manolo says, each week, the Manolo he receives many dozens of the e-mails from his friends asking the Manolo to help with their various shoe-based needs. Occasionally, however, the Manolo gets the brief letter, such as the one above, which, because it is so brief, is most difficult to answer.

there is one way to get any shoe, in any style, any size, any color. go to http://www.beautiful-shoes.com, tell them what you want, and they’ll make it for you. it ain’t cheap, mind you, but you can have exactly the shoe you want, and one that fit’s you perfectly, for about the same price as a pair of manolos, in some cases less. i have no affiliation with them, but what i do have is one foot that is a half-size larger than the other — size 8 fits the left, size 8.5 fits the right, and a pair of either size doesn’t fit at all — so i was able to solve the problem this way. you can email a photo of your favorite shoes, even a fabric you particularly love, and they will custom make them to fit. now maybe the manolo will have an easier time of it with his pesky friends and their pesky questions.
