Manolo says, here is the beautiful pair of the round-toed platform pumps from the Claudia Ciuti. It is somewhat formal, the sort of the shoe that could move gracefully from the day to the evening.

Dear Manolo, I’m confused about what is a “platform” shoe!
I always thought platforms were those flat things stacked several inches high. Hmmm. Not explaining well - like wedges but flat. Not with a separate heel.
Like those I fell off of as a teenager those many years ago…
PS - I love the pumps!

The platform to which the Manolo refers is under the ball of the foot, and it is fairly slim. Most of the finer shoes described as “platform” this season (and last) are of this ilk.
