What the Manolo Is…
Manolo says, it is Tuesday, time to see what the Manolo is…
eagerly awaiting the release of…
Although the Manolo is by no means the fanboy, he is none the less convinced that the Guillermo del Toro is one of the most interesting and humanistic directors working today, and thus is worthy of our close attention.

I love Hellboy. I heard there’s a sequel in the works, with all the majors back on board. I hope it’s true! I can’t wait to see “Blue” again — David Hyde Pierce’s best role, if you ask me…
“Pan’s Labrynth” looks fascinating, too. Del Torro was responsible for the best-to-date Harry Potter flick, (the third, “Prisoner of Azkaban”) and as a result, I am a huge fan.
There is beauty to be found even in the most unlikely places at the cinema, eh?

Manolo —
I saw an extended preview of “Pan’s Labyrinth” at Comic Con International in San Diego…
(Why Yes, I am a FanGirl. But I prefer the generic geek.)
… and it is beautiful and strange. And the subtitles will keep it from being marketed as a children’s movie
