I feel that a knee-high boot is much more flattering with a skirt. And with trousers, I'd prefer an ankle-height boot (so as to prevent the dreaded "sock flash" when seated). A bootie just seems odd and unnecessary. Maybe it's because I'm so short and anything that breaks up my leg line makes me look stumpy. So, score another one for the tall girls, I guess....
