Oh, my. These will go marvelously with my New Year’s outfit, which glitters and shows cleavage aplenty.
Where can the Ms. Place from http://dis-ndat.blogspot.com/ get one?

Damn, these are gorgeous. And they’d be perfect with the dress I bought to wear to a black tie event. But the price! $830? I don’t think so.
I have a theory that you can find terrific evening shoes at rock bottom prices. Because even if the shoes cost a fortune, with lots of bling and sparkle they can still look cheap. And some of the cheaper models (I’m talking less than $100) look pretty darn good. And since you’re not going hiking in them they don’t have to be built to last. Even though some Chinese Laundry black satin beaded sandals I’ve had have lasted for about five years and are still going strong.
I prefer to splurge on simple, classic leather looks. Simple always works best when it’s done with the highest quality materials and top notch craftmanship.

I need the guidance of the Manolo. I have a niece that has studied long and hard in engineering school. Her major is transportation engineering with a minor in pavements.
Soon she will enter the real world. Her first interview is with a construction company in the United States. So I took her shopping for the interview clothes. She has a limited budget (no more than $250 ) for the clothes (yes, Manolo we are frugal). We went to J.C. Penney (yes Manolo, we are horribly bourgeois).
We found suitable clothes (fairly standard) but shoes were the sticking point. Shoes do matter, they make a profound statement. What can you recommend for the interview shoes? Remember our motto is frugality not ostentatiousness.
Stretch the mind, Manolo. Think for us poor unfortunate ones who must purchase the shoes for no more $39.99. Remember that she will be walking quite a bit with these shoes. The pavements of New York City and New Jersey are quite unforgiving.

Subroto, I definitely recommend zappos.com for your hunt. You can search for shoes by style, and then limit by price, color, and size also. Make sure to read the feedback about the shoes, as it has saved me from buying poorly made shoes many times in the past! Zappos also has a great free return policy should they not fit correctly.

Dear Manolo,
I’m probably a bit late for this, but I finally watched Sex in the City where Carrie gets her Manolo Sedaraby stolen. Are these shoes sold anymore? If so where can I purchase them without paying $1000.00 like on ebay. Plus I’m not even sure they are even real on ebay. On the show she states she paid $485 for them, so I’m really not sure what is true. Please if you can help me out in anyway, I truly love those shoes.
Thanks
Aish
