Yes, it is true, the Manolo is one of those Monty Python geeks, but in the subdued sort of the way, as one who perhaps only occasionally hums the Bruces’ Song to himself under his breath while browsing in the philosophy section of the bookstore.

I would comment, but I am being oppressed by the violence inherent in the system, and all that.
Hmmm.
What’s amazing is just how uneven the series was. We all remember the outstanding episodes because they were touched with genius. But there are plenty of skits that frankly stunk.
But the good ones vastly outweighed the bad.
