    what is wonky?

Those are nice. What does the Manolo recommend for Portland though, where it is torrential rain?

Well, they were way too huge in the foot part but I couldn’t even get the ankle strap around my leg…and I am not a very big person. I figured if I went down a size the ankle part would be even smaller so I didn’t bother.

I see. That explains wonky. Thank you :)

Ha. Now that I study the picture, they LOOK wonky. Doesn’t the ankle strap look like it is meant for a stick? They are still pretty.

If one brought them to a proper cobbler, the strap could be removed, and it would then be a lovely velvet d’Orsay pump. Something to consider, if the ankle straps don’t fit.
