Well, old Miss Westwood still causes very strong reactions, for certain the models still, like all fashion shows, look like they suffer from bulimia. From the images I have seen, her collection still cause a very strong reaction, but her work always has,and good on her, when you look at other designers work, she still shines and challanges, what a male should or should not, look like.Forget the dull world of Gucci,Prada,Armani, Mcqueen, clothes for footballers and their ilk. 15 years ago she put tweed back on the map and it was just laughed,a year later you saw it everwere, just like the corset, sure I'm a great admirer of her work, which is easily apparent,a lot of her work is to over the top,but so bloody what.Give me colour and challenging work any day, over the dull work of most designers. So many designers ,like that Miss McQueen are just jealous for she had great strret cred,he wanted it but never has or ever will have i,yes she is past her prime .Good on her for people to have such strong reactions to her work,I love to be hated.

At least it isn't just the women looking ridiculous. This stuff really makes you think. First you wonder what on earth is that. Then you start noticing details, like the gloves tucked into the leather jacket's collar, and what may be an argyle pattern running up that poor kid's pants legs, and then (merciful heavens), I can't even imagine what the bizarro sweater mystery looks like on that poor young man's back if it's this hideous in front. You could study these photos all day and never figure it out. Or not.

Hmmm.

With this as a guide I plan to make my debut in high fashion with a line of clothing based on buttless chaps, g-strings and heavily fringed sombreros.

Am I the only one who suspects that Westwood's well-known royalist tendencies are a sly allusion to The Emperor's New Clothes?

Oh, so it is just me, then.

Well, I still wouldn't wear this crap if you paid me.

Milan Men's Fasion Week...

Can someone please send Vivienne Westwood back to the rock she crawled out from under? The crap she marched out onto the runway this week at the Milan Men's Fashion Week is laughable at best, and idiotic at least....
