Diamond Shoes of the Oscars
Manolo says, once again the Stuart Weitzman has produced the most super fantastic shoes for tonight’s ceremony of the Oscars, and they are to be worn by the Anika Non-i Rose.
She has been overshadowed by Beyoncé Knowles and Oscar nominee Jennifer Hudson. But Sunday night, Anika Non-i Rose, the third songbird in the Dreamgirls trio, gets her chance to glitter on the Oscars red carpet in Stuart Weitzman’s Diamond Dream shoe.
Rose digs Weitzman’s heels because “they’re so comfortable, so when they asked me if I wanted to do it, I said absolutely.” Her silver stiletto, worth $500,000, is adorned with 30 carats’ worth of Kwiat diamonds.
Rose says she’s not nervous about losing any of the rocks. “I’m sure someone will be standing next to me with a net and a metal detector in case one falls off,” she says with a laugh.
Only half the million dollars? Last year the shoes were worth $3,000,000! Here is the picture of the last year’s shoes.

Eh- not so great this year. The cheapo plastic band upon which the admitedly impressive gems are set is going to hurt just as much as it would on a $24 dollar pair of prom shoes from Payless.
