I remember when that commercial came out, and I bet I was less than 12.
I’m a Spin Instructor, and I used a Mel Tormé song in my Spin class last night (”Too Darn Hot”) and my riders loved it. He stands the test of time, that Velvet Fog.

I remember this ad, too, from when I was little. I agree about Mel, but I also think Shelley Hack was awesome. Remember her great appearance in Annie Hall?

I’m sure that drugstore scent was far too dilute to make the room reek; she probably HAD to slather it on like that. And I remember that commercial from the first time around too. Make it go away!

The aimlessjoys will never forget the Christmas she was presented with five variations of Charlie. This is the aimlessjoys who favors Quelque Fleurs & Coco. Hmmmmmmmmm. Too much TV on the part of the loved ones. The product was donated & not re-gifted. Perhaps it was flattering. On the side of optimism, it was flattering.
