Rena is credited in Showgirls as the singer and songwriter of the song “Deep Kiss”. You can hear the song in the beginning of the lap dance scene. Rena has a finished CD with a bonus track of the remixed version of Deep Kiss on it.

i definitely agree, though i’m pretty sure the “hefty” dresses cost more than a normal trashbag. though i don’t think eva looked quite THAT bad. atleast she wore real clothes!

I think the Manolo was commenting on how casually Mendes is dressed not on whether the outfit is nice. Sure, it is a cute look, but it does rather look like she just happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to stop in after dropping off her Blockbuster rentals and before picking up some KFC.

God, it’s totally scary that I immediately recognized her as the skanky hooker from Mulholland Dr. who doesn’t want anything to eat but does want a cigarette. And yeah, she was in Showgirls, too.
