But I had always heard it was Diana Vreeland who told you, “Young man, write a blog!”
Whatever, I’ve placed my order!

It is entiurely suitable that the book of the Manolo should be published in the Penguin Classics.

A welcome addition to the Penguin catalog. Fits right in there between Thomas Mann and Marilyn Manson.

Ayyyyy! The shoes, they are in ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’! What is the Manolo trying to say there?

Hmmm.
I will say this much. I’ve learned a lot about how, and why, women love shoes. As your average American guy for me shoes are things on my feet that keep them from getting cold or wet, i.e. hopeless. :)
In the future I’ll keep in mind that some roses and fine chocolate is an excellent gift to a woman but the above plus a shopping trip for fine shoes is probably vastly better.
Thanks!
