Sigerson Morrison on the Sale
Manolo says, the Manolo loves this simple but handsome shoe from the Sigerson-Morrison. This is the sort of shoe which you would wear often and proudly, even better, it is more than 25% off the usual price.

I’m sorry but those look like they belong on the end of a pair of really chunky calves that end in cankles. Very school marmish, I’m afraid. Usually I agree with your taste but not this time.

Nicole–I was going to say they remind me of character shoes, but much more stylish. I wish I had the money to buy them–I would indeed wear them often.

Cute shoes. Too bad most manufacturers think women only want nice shoes up until size 10. Guess they don’t want big foot money.

I hear ya, pbird! Women apparently also only want WIDE shoes beyond size 10. Arggg!

Hmm, I don’t understand the whole thought process behind “straps = cankles.” Trust me, these would not give you cankles; the shoes you have to worry about are the ones w/ thin straps that go right around the thinnest part of the ankle, not these that dip below the ankle bone (and thus not drawing attention to the thinnest part).
The definitely look like character shoes. The strap placement is similar to heeled t-strap jazz shoes (i.e. Rockettes) and anyone who does jazz or ballet knows the importance of leg line.

The perfect pair of shoes. Have had them saved to my ‘favorites” and waiting to see if they will ever go on sale. They are cute and sexy!
