The animated version reminded me of textbook illustrations from the days when I was a young teenager, so the sweet appeal of the faces--hard to describe, & the disappearing after the party, very poignant, today, especially. The bluegrass version & the melding of ages, acceptance--the combination is rather profound in the midst of tragedy as we are now--is that why I have a strong urge to go watch the Ferris Bueller dvd now?
