You know, this really is pretty dumb. If kids have any common sense, they won't get hurt. And a cloud of lightning? Give me a break.

As much as I dislike Crocs, I don't buy this claim of their potential deadliness.

Laura K , nurses and really little children are the ONLY people allowed to wear them without comment as far as i'm concerned...but even my 20 veteran of the L & D ward aunt wouldn't be caught DEAD in public outside of work with 'em on...she changes shoes when she gets to her car, instead... seriously, this crappy, ugly shoes at your wedding thing needs to stop...if you're going to go as far as wearing crocs, you should just go all the way to wellies, or barefoot...

My sister is a nurse and devoted croc-wearer. (Ick, I might add.) She just tried to convince a friend of ours to wear white crocs on her wedding day.

I have seen several versions of the new Crocs and they are much worse in person than even in pictures. They look like "My little pony" shoes from the 80's

Has the Manolo seen the latest iteration of Crocs? They are making ballet flats now and somehow manage to make them look clunky.

Sadly, I have had to visit the emergency room at my local hospital twice in the past three weeks. I am the mother of four boys.... Anyway - I noticed that almost all of the nurses, male and female were indeed wearing crocs. Crocs with socks. I assumed it was part of the uniform. Fortunately neither of my boys required a respirator.

I can see it now....groups of Croc devotees angrily demanding their God given right to wear their crocs when and where they please and being forced to stand in the rain under the entrance awnings of public buildings along with the smokers. Lord save us from the second hand effects of crocs which I have always suspected were more harmful than actually wearing them.
