This would be perfect to wear with the elegant linen pantsuit, the sort of outfit that you could wear to work on the Friday afternoon when that darkly handsome man with the convertible is picking you up at the office and taking you straight away for the romantic weekend in the country.

Can I wear them if my only option is a darkly handsome man in a used Kia picking me up at the office and taking me straight away to Rita’s Water Ice for some gelato? Because that’s all I got, and I definitely want to wear these shoes anyway!

I’m wearing these shoes in an old 30s mystery movie set in the tropics with a white linen shirtwaist a large straw hat and a to die for white leather oversized clutch purse. Wait. Strike that. I’m Bette Davis wearing that outfit in Now Voyager on the deck of the cruise ship catching her first glimpse of the harbor in Rio. Wow!! I really need those shoes!!

Adore these shoes. The tan with the cream knots is so chic, but the white high heel with racer stripe spells fun.

gemdiva–You mean those black and white ones? :) I saw Now, Voyager on TCM recently and loved it, including the shoes!
