Manolo’s Monday Miscellany

Manolo says, here are the few links which may perhaps amuse…

The unidentified man was spotted sitting on a bench on the basement floor of a nearly vacant medical building Wednesday afternoon.

Goyard bags and Tory Burch ballet shoes.

P.S. Many thanks to the Manolo’s internet friends the Chris and the Ellen

I’m impressed that he can actually run in heels.

And as a friend of mine noted, accessorizing naked is a mistake.

  2. Ann S Says:

Perhaps he was hoping that his shoes were super fantastic enough that no one would notice he was naked.

  3. Roni Says:

McMinnville is a wee, tiny town in western Oregon. (I live a very short distance from there); however, they do in fact have one of the only Wal-Mart’s in this part of the state. My guess is that the shoes were bought there.

  4. OceanSunfish Says:

I’ve seen those Tory Burch ballet shoes on everyone, do people really enjoy dressing exactly the same way? I hate it when I see lots of other people wearing something I own.

  5. Poochie Says:

I like it when I can spot a trend first or early and will buy an item that speaks to being “of the moment” but in a classic “I could still wear this 3 years from now and not look stupid” way. Those Tory Burch shoes are everywhere and too recognizeable. A simple shoe with a big logo is not cool. I think it makes you look like you are trying too hard and everyone immediately says: Oh, I know those X-brand shoes.

Isn’t better to get something super fantastic, have most people think you picked something amazing but not sure from where, and just a few people “getting it” and admiring your taste?

  6. g-dog Says:

He can run in heels? While naked? He is a better (wo)man than I!

  7. Sue F. Says:

Why the lockdown? He obviously wasn’t carrying any concealed weapons.
