Lolita from the Tracy Reese
Manolo says, there is something unmistakeably chic and modern about this shoe, the Lolita from the Tracey Reese, and yet, even as one may clearly see the modern line in the conic heel, there is also the pleasant old-fashioned solidity to the material and the stitching.
Thus, this shoe has the contradictory, counter-balancing of elements that makes it, to the Manolo’s mind, the great success, and something that would be very fun to wear.

The shoes are very nice and modern and yet, they still look like the type of shoes Clara Bow might have worn.

These look absolutely darling, but also appear to be very painful to wear! Or is it just me?

Let’s be realistic, I agree. The shoes are gorgeous, but just looking at them makes my feet hurt. I envy the woman who can walk in those.

Adorable!!! Totally love the cone-shaped heels. And I like that the Maryjane strap is down low enough not to pinch my instep; I have wide-ish feet and need that room across the top.

Hehe. They make me think of that movie with Bette Midler…where she’s a witch. I don’t know why…they are super cute.
