As a second year medical student I can't help but shudder at the thought of anyone wearing anything but their oldest and least desirable clothes to anatomy lab. I threw every item I wore into lab into a trash can at the end of the, as did many of my classmates.

I like lovely things as much as the next person, but anatomy lab has things like congealed blood, errant bits of liquefied fat and cadaver fixation fluids spread everywhere. Why anyone would expose silk (or 300 dollar shoes!) to that environment is beyond me.

I like the idea of a deep mustard-yellow, silk skirt. Maybe because I have one in red and I love the design on that one. I didn't like the strap on the shoes though. The color is fantastic, I will buy them later for my red skirt. I found some nice shoes in a website which I am not sure if I remember correctly, something like "goldperth", I love this big pictures where you can see the shoe completely.

What about us, medical students, who wish to be comfortable during the long hours, but not at the price of wearing orthopaedic shoes? Are Crocks the only option to look just a bit more cool ;)?

This is the EXACT color I had in my head when I read "mustard." Now I must not only purchase the shoes but find the mustard skirt as well.

Bueno!
