Re: Clavicles. But, you see, showing off the bony protuberances makes it all so easy and simple. Instead of having to state one’s weight or BMI or be groped by some assistant, you just bare your neck and voila! The measurement is taken. And any female showing that (and if she is showing her shoulders, the bones at the apex there will be jutting out in high relief as well, if the clavicles are this prominent) will also be sending the message loud and clear of “My dear, my body fat percentage is soooo much lower than yours.”
One can be fairly sure that this young lady has not seen “three squares” or 1000 calories in a day, or her periods, for a very, very long time. Cuddly, she ain’t.

Hey that’s not quite accurate. I’m not a skinny girl, but my clavicle is very pronounced. It thought it’s just the way you’re shaped, or where your flesh chooses to hang. Like how some people have knobby knees, regardless of weight.

Seconded wildflower!
My clavicle is quite pronounced, my neck long, and my face thin but I’ve never been underweight in my life.
I wear boatnecks/bateau necklines that show just a bit of clavicle and it creates a nice silhouette. That and it helps detract the attention from my small boobs.

HAHAHA I have no boobs, either! Maybe they go hand in hand, prominent clavicles and booblessness! :D

I was feeling very kindly disposed towards Mr. Nimoy, until the every last line of the article. He thinks fat women are beautiful: Not sexually attractive, but beautiful.
Very disappointing.
