NASCAR Does Pucci
Manolo says, last week the Manolo noted with perplexity the entry of the NASCAR to the ladies designer shoes market.
This week, the Manolo notes with dismay the Allison from NASCAR, the Pucci knock-off so blatant that the Manolo gasped when he saw it.

Knockoff it is, but it’s horrible. I don’t think for a minute that Pucci would lower itself to that pathetic a level. NASCAR is banking on people’s bad taste here.

I am a huge fan of all sports–> especially F1 and NASCAR. I would never, in all my days, wear anything as atrocious as the shoes from NASCAR. I’m not a whore. I’d sooner go bare foot in the pit lane than don these vile things. I think that NASCAR (and indeed most sports retailers) are trying to cash in on the quintessential bimbo buying these things to make sports more “female friendly”. What a load of crap. I went round Silverstone (UK F1 Grand Prix) two years ago in a lovely pair of Jimmy Choo’s (nearly broke my neck), but looked much more sophisticated than 99.9% of the general public. Manolo, you should design shoes for these people–> no doubt they’d be beautiful and not at all “red neck”. Excuse my lack of political correctness.

Would Pucci use that style of heel with that shoe? I like to think “no”, Pucci would not combine the fabric with a pseudo-cowboy heel.
How many NASCAR fans will even recognize this as a Pucci knock-off?

It is funny, before I saw the text I thought “Those are really the ugliest Pucci shoes I have seen.” and I was surprised, but no more! It makes sense now. The colors are far too muddy to look as cheery as the bright Pucci palette.

No, wait … you have to go to Zappos and look at ALL of the NASCAR shoes. In addition to these hideous pumps, there are PLATFORM fake Puccis! They are so grotesque, you can’t help but look!
I don’t have a problem with NASCAR, but I do have a problem with these shoes. Them’s some seriously ugly hooker shoes.
