I tried them, but I have a very high arch and instep, and they did not work well with my feet. I'm afraid to ask the Manolo when someone becomes one of his "older" friends; I am a big fan of Fluevog, but I don't consider myself drawn to the "bizarre" details of the shoes. The quality, comfort and style are enough for me. My friend bought a pair of these in yellow and loves them; she thinks there a great, comfortable flat to wear when you have to do lots of walking.
