2007, The Year of the Fetish Shoe!
Manolo says, here from the Daily Mail is that saucy trollop the Victoria “Posh” Beckham wearing the ridiculous and dangerous looking spikey shoes.
And thus, with this picture, the Manolo now officially declares 2007,
The Year of the Fetish Shoe.
Forget for now the beautiful, elegant, and stylish shoes, and wear only those shoes which emphatically say to the public “the wearer of these shoes may be hired to satisfy your more outré desires.”
Five and the half inch stiletto heels? The height of fashion!
Weird dominatrix boots? Wear them to the red carpet!
Bizarre and clunky pony-play platforms ? Hottest shoe of the Fall!
It is all too much and too ridiculous, but do not worry, dear friends of the Manolo, this fashion moment shall pass.

Those shoes are ugly and I bet the cost a pretty penny. Did anyone happen to click on the link for the boots. Now those were weird looking also. How in the world do you walk in them?

Haha! Perhaps the Manolo does not wish to know this, but I am in fact a dominatrix, and I can assure you that neither I nor any other dominant ladies I know would wear those ridiculous boots.
Stiletto heels hurt so much more when you step on someone’s sensitive spots with them, a rounded heel would be so ineffective. :)

Hm…she does have bunions.
She also won’t be sitting the way my mother always suggested — with the legs crossed at the ankle, like a proper lady. She’d wind up with badly punctured ankles. And this is a woman who would probably develop severe anemia from a paper cut, due to an obvious lack of nourishment.
Sigh…she was actually pretty when she was with the Spice Girls. Posh! Drop the bleach (hair and tooth), step away from the tanning bed, and go eat a sandwich. You’ll look and feel so much better.

I am more than happy if you like wearing them. I just know my feet for the most part would hate them.
I liked that comment on Paula Abdul now those would hurt if she tripped over her dog wearing those.

If anyone, that’s not a gothic super-hero, can pull off the spiked pumps it’s Victoria Beckham. I’m not sure what she’s trying to prove, but with that hair, it’s working for her. Nonethless, those pumps just seem like a liability to us.

The Tia Nieve wonders why the Posh doesn not have scratches on her ankles. Perhaps that is why the Posh looks so serious. Bunions and puncture wounds are not a fun combination. She looks like a cadaver.
