I'm going for it, being a coloured shoe lover:
The ballerina colour is daring and strong, and the shoe stile is not easy because of the string around the ankle. My outfit would be straight leg white jeans (no skinny jeans, please), with a ilttle room around the leg part. A white off-the-shoulder tunic, short or 3/4 sleeves, hip length. Or with a golden tank top, preferably a bit loose, a white leather hip hugging belt, wide and a bit crafted (be it Spanish, Indian, but with no rhinestones or embellishments other than the leatherwork). No necklaces, but a few wooden bangles (1 cm wide) in white, turquoise, maybe one with stripes. No other jewelry. Definitely a white handbag, hobo style, if dressed in gold. If all in white, I would go for a handbag that has some summery discreet pattern (maybe even a wonderfully crafted beach basket which you can use in the city as well).
Ballerinas that tie around the ankle can be difficult if your legs are not long and skinny so I would definitely go for a trouser outfit. The string will only show when you are sitting, which is cute, I think.

I stand in awe of the collective talent of the Manolo's internet posse.. the last three contests have been most inspiring! I think I shall retire myself from posting to the contest and just enjoy the many brilliant points of view! Which is to me the best part- so many lovely outfits that can be worn by so many different women, my humble thanks to my fellow readers for such varied beauty- and to the Manolo of course, for allowing these many tasteful ladies an outlet for their talents!

I hope they come in a better color. I don't care for this shoe though. Just not for me.
