Giuseppe Zanotti for the Monday
Manolo says, here it is the last Monday in June and you are still chained to your desk, working for the man every night and day. But the girl can dream, can she not?
And what better way to dream than by thinking of shoes, beautiful shoes from Italian designers in exotic metallic colors, such as these expensive anthracite and gold toe-ring sandals from the Giuseppe Zanotti.

I, big fan of the bejeweled sandal, love Zanotti, he makes the most beautiful sandals. He is one of the few that can make an ethnic flat look like a wedding shoe.

I’m going to have to differ on this one: these sandals immediately reminded me of something from the Payless BOGO sale. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. My personal opinion on summer sandals is that they all end up sweaty and smelly by September anyway, so best not to invest huge sums.

Anthracite? You want COAL on your sandals? Hey, I know some old mines in Southern Illinois where you can get that for free, folks.

Totally, jenny. These are not my thing.

The toe ring is the only part that holds the sole to the foot! Ayyyyy! to quote The Manolo. Yes, I see that there is the ankle strap, but otherwise, the big toe is doing the big work to prevent the sandal from skittering away. Would not the rest of the little piggies be waving rather precariously in the pedestrian breeze?
Not pour moi, for a certainty!
