I’ll give him this much, he seems to walk well in heels for a male..
That man can do anything! He is the lead singer of the band ‘Gogol Bordello’ and starred opposite Elijah Wood in Everything Is Illuminated, which is a lovely movie. And apparently he can walk in heels, too.
Am I the only one that thinks it is weird to see a guy walking in heels? I mean when I first looked at the picture it never even crossed my mind to look at the guys shoes.

I get a centaurus kind of image in my mind, only instead of half horse, we get the female legs with granny shoes. Whether reality or mythology… why those pumps for that outfit? I think I am more concerned about the clashing of styles than the man-pump partnership itself.
I agree with Nena — wear women’s shoes if you want to (who doesn’t, really?) but make sure they go with your clothes. Kitten heels really do require a skirt.

You’ll find me in women’s shoes nearly every day at my job in downtown Chicago—no mean feat for a 6′ 0″ man. But it only makes sense for me to dress in heels if the outfit as a whole makes sense. I applaud his bravado. However, his lack of taste makes crossing gender boundaries seem ridiculous and sets back the cause of those of us who can pull it off with panache.
