Siiiiggghhh… you sure have a gift for concocting great fantasy lives, Manolo.
That being said, the menu at your Daniel does not look all that exciting or titillating compared to that of our Left Coasters’ Chez panisse or Greens or any of the several dozen awesome trattorias that sprinkle our lovely bay area.

Ahh those are luscious. I have several pairs of black-tie-gala-dinner shoes, but no where to wear them, except to the couch to eat a HotPocket while watching Discovery.

My best friend’s husband dances for the ballet so I get to go often. I would wear those shoes there, as it is one of the few occasions for which you can get dressed up in this city. (But, I don’t want to fool anyone—there are people living here who wear jeans to the ballet…the same people who wear them to the nicest restaurant in town. Ugh.)
