I agree with faye, I definitely wish her shoes had been more fabulous… but then again maybe she was trying to be ironic and humorous by saying “My boogie shoes are hideous old things I wear to walk to the corner store for cigarettes in a rainstorm,”?

Although my in-laws call me Imelda, my favorite boogie shoes are the bare feets.

Her shoes are pretty bad, but judging from the general clunky aesthetic, and the quality of the footage, I’m going to venture a guess that it dates from the early 90’s which was not the most inspired era, fashion wise.
