The Help Wanted, Update
Manolo says, the Manolo’s call for bloggers to help with his soon-to-be launched new blog, Manolo for the Big Girl, has resulted in over two dozen of the applications!
All of them are excellent. Indeed the Manolo could pick any two of them at random and they would produce the wonderfully entertaining blog.
But, the Manolo is committed to selecting the two he believes are the best fit for the Manolo Weltanschauung, and so now he is reading, reading, reading the blog posts and articles which these marvelous writers have submitted. This will be the very difficult decision.

Surely, the Weltanschauung is no such big the deal.
It is the simplicity of the genius!
Almost like the invention of the wheel,
Or the formidable four-inch heel.
There are the three fundamental pillars to the doctrine of the church of the Manolo:
1. Always to insert the “The” before the every noun that appears in the sentence,
2. Never to use the grammatical contractions, and
3. Never ever be caught in the wearing of the crocs.
The Manolo can forgive the forgetting of the rule number 1 and the rule number 2, but the Manolo considers the rule number 3 the most egregious heresy.

Ah, but the other Manolo-bloggers do not, in fact, imitate the style of the Manolo (a temptation that, if the Manolo’s comments pages are any indication, is pretty hard to resist!).
Instead, the formidable Never Teh Bride and cohorts have disctinctive voices of their own. Presumably the Big Girl bloggers will be similarly gifted!
