Manolo, the entire Dior Collection is simply jaw-droppingly spectacular. I didn't think Galliano could top spring's oriental inspired collection, yet somehow he did. Everything fit the Spanish theme perfectly, a wonderful homage to a distinct and unique culture and an tribute to the past, present and future of the House of Dior.

I would suggest a reading of Hemingway's Death in the Afternoon for those who might not yet appreciate the fighting of the bulls. I seem to recall that he discussed the Manolete some.

And Bravo! to the Galliano for his homage to the great Manolete!

I just knew someone from the ingnorant and hypocritical PETA groupies would make some remark about the bull fighting. It is ceremony, pagentry, life and death. It precedes Chritianity. It is very ancient.
I call the animal lovers to task for the more of the vegetables they consume, the more wild animals must die as more land is cleared. They wear the leather shoes and belts yet whine about the fur and think not of where the leather comes from. They claim to be culturally sensitive but they slag the customs of my ancestors. They assume a level of moral height, yet they will be cruel to people. I dance the dance of contempt on their pretensions in a nice pair of riding heel LEATHER boots which have much of the Spainish influence in their design. So there, Nyah.
