Manolo answers, the Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham. Was there ever any doubt?

  1. enc Says:

The shoes are a scream. Can someone say what brand they are?

Are her bag and dress meant to be the same shade of pink? They don’t look the same shade to me, but my eyesight isn’t what it used to be . . . .

  2. Style Spy Says:

I do applaud her sense of adventure, but she’s just so… tacky. Truly, money does not buy taste. No one, but no one needs a Pepto-Pink Birkin. Yech.

  3. retna Says:

In the earlier picture, is that a price tag on the heel? Can anyone else see it, or is it me? I have anti-posh-itis which makes me hypercritical, sometimes.

  4. Sue F. Says:

I for one am impressed that she manages to actually walk in those, and on a grassy surface to boot.

  5. Jen Says:

    daaaaamn that birkin is hot!

  6. MsRebecca Says:

I definitely don’t dig Posh and I don’t know how anyone can walk in those without breaking an ankle!

  7. Sharon Says:

I don’t think the pinks are the same shade either. I give her credit for walking in them heels but way overdressed for the field.

  8. 7IXWUpf3bijuCRCZQoNQyz-H9RBICSQqvXfF_my91O0. Says:

Is always being way overdressed for everything truly “posh”?

  9. Tiberia Says:

Is always being way overdressed for everything truly “posh”?

  10. MissMarj Says:

She never was all that posh, just posher than the other Spice Girls.

  11. Nancy Liedel Says:

I so want to take her home and feed her a sandwich.

  12. thepinkeminence Says:

In defense of Posh (!), I must say that that dress–though it does make her look like she’s about to start passing out martinis for Pepto Bismol Airlines–appeals to me DEEPLY. I just like it. And the bag. But NOT those shoes.

  13. LaVida2 Says:

Okay, I almost hate to admit it, but I watched the Beckham show on television last night. It was a like a car wreck that you just can’t take your eyes away from.

Here are my observations and additional questions:

    1. Beckham is way HOT!!!

    2. She and Beckham APPEAR to be madly in love. However, I will reserve further comment on that topic until I see additional interaction amongst those two.

    3. Do they really have children? When did she have time to look away from a mirror to push out a couple of kids?

    4. Posh APPEARS to be a humorous person, which tends to bias my opinion of people and their personalities.

    5. What is POSH’s background? Does she come from old or new money?

    6. Did I mention….Beckham is way HOT!!!

  14. Kate Cavendish Says:

Posh’s contortionist antics go further than her tortured feet. Did anyone notice the incredibly awkward/unphotogenic position of her wrist and hand?

  15. Kris Says:

I’m with Lavida2…Beckham (Mr.) is WAY hot. And I, too, couldn’t turn away from Posh’s show. It was funny, and her shoes were the star. Did you see what she was wearing when she threw out the first pitch at Dodger stadium? Tennies (“Trainors”) with major heels!

  16. Samuel Says:

Did anyone see that awful program following her in LA as she moved there ??? she was just awful. What annoys me is she thinks shes fashionale :o if i was a designer I would not want her wearing my clothes.. shes cheap tacky and tantastically orange… oo and she never looks comfortable in what she wears which is the number one rule in fashion, otherwise it just doesn’t work.

  17. Meg Q Says:

Um, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think she came from any “money” – a nice middle-class girl, just “posh” compared to the other Spice Girls (not that difficult), and those were all made-up “tags” anyway . . . like “Baby Spice”? Whatever. I’m expecting that girl to get a Nobel Prize in Physics by the time she’s 50. (Well, maybe not . . . but you knew there’s more to that one than a mooncalf gaze and ponytails – etc.)

  18. Donna Says:

I think that a Brit would gag at the suggestion that Posh came from money. Her accent suggests the Brit equivalent of trailer trash. I watched the first fifteen minutes of her reality show, but couldn’t stand it anymore. She’ll fit right in in Hollywood, self-absorbed bitch that she is.
