The Shannon Brit on the Sale
Manolo says, here is the elegant silver shoe from the Shannon Britt, something you could proudly wear to the fanciest summer wedding, or to the Friday night hot date. And look, even better, it is on the sale, 30% off of the regular price, the saving of over $100 of the American dollars!

A croc is a croc, no matter what you do to it.

I didn’t think it was possible to make crocs look worse….color me WRONG!
On another note - I just returned from a business/fun trip to Tampa, where I was surrounded by crocs of all sizes, shapes, colors and ornamentation, on the beach, at the pool, in the airport, in restaurants, you get the picture. This experience left me with one question, why in the name of Roger Vivier would any sentient being wear rubbery, plastic shoes in 96 degree, humid heat. And, oh yeah, they are soooo ugly!

BTW - for all the croc lovers, my question was strictly rhetorical.

Sarah: I think they are cute. I’ve seen Mary-Jane crocs. They seem comfortable. My understanding is that crocs are made not of rubber but some foam-like material which has none of the side effects suspected by gemdiva. I wonder if they are good for walking long distances.

hmmn, I think even though they are potentially cute in their own right they will still have that ‘Crocs’ stigma hanging round like a rotting lump of meat ;)

I fear you are right. There is a croc prejudice out there. To re-formulate Mr. Franklin’s insight: “Any opinion that cannot be amended by the introduction of new facts is not an opinion but a prejudice. ”
Any aesthetic judgment that cannot be modified upon the introduction of new styles is not a taste but an irrational aversion …

OK, guilty as charged. I have an irrational aversion to those incredibly ugly shoes.

I’m concerned that the intent of this post has been completely overlooked!
The Shannon Britt shoes that are “actually pictured” are exquisite and deserve much more attention than they have received.
I’m quite certain these could be worn out for a nice evening on the town and even left on for the later night activities.
Thanks Manolo for another unique find!
