Long after the shoes have worn out, are out of style or your feet are too big to fit into them anymore, the jewelry will still be there. You can wear your jewelry, redesign it, leave it to your daughter or melt it and convert to cash. Jewelry is an asset. And don't get me wrong....I adore shoes. But when it comes to making a buying decision between blahniks and bling, I'd go for the bling....but only at wholesale prices! Could it have something to do with the fact that what she wore to the interview was a matching set of sweat pants and sweat shirt? This is a woman of 35, and she routinely wears sweat clothes to the office. One outfit has Winnei the Pooh printed on it. Diamonds are a girls best friend!" Far more easily converted to cash in a pinch when the wolf comes a knockin'.
