As someone currently in ownership of thighs, hips, and a butt often referred to by friends as ‘bubble-like’ and by construction workers as ‘damn baby lookathat,’ I know the pain of having to purchase pants in the next size up because my butt does not fit. Everything else fits into the pants, but alas, the pair of honeydews surgically implanted at age 13 without my consent giggle to themselves as I sigh and head back out of the dressing room. But though I must do this walk of shame each and every time I go pants-shopping, I would NEVER purchase anything under the clothing name ‘Humps,’ not even if they were made out of magic and the pockets constantly refilled themselves with gold dust. Life is too short to rewrite the English language to mean whatever you want it to. I suppose ‘cankers’ will soon be used to describe breasts. GOOD DAY, MADAME GRAY.

My first thought, as an out of touch, middle aged, productive member of society, was, who or what is Macy Gray. My second thought was what half way house did she escape from and is she armed. My third thought was, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan must be thrilled to know that this dimwit considers them to be “classic shit.”

The idea of her designing for anybody is just a joke to be honest. I went to fashion school and studied for 4 years to learn about design and cut and structure. As if that wasn’t enough, just Google image search her and ask yourself, is that what many women are aiming for style-wise?

Three thoughts about this post, in no particular order:

1. I had no idea that Calvin Klein and DNKY were selling pajama pants and old demin shirts.

2. If that’s what she thinks is a flattering cut and fit for a plus-sized woman, this clothing line may have a bigger problem than the name.

3. Re: “billions”– She is aware that, for most of the world, too much food is not the problem, right?

If her photo weren’t enough to convince me that this woman has no taste, the fact that she shops at H&M would confirm it. I had my first (and last) H&M experience on Monday when I had to get out of the rain in Boston and I was less than whelmed. Cheap, tacky clothes that don’t fit well.

But then, that appears to be the look she’s going for.

What would reallu top this all off is that ghastly dress she wore to the MTV awards one year solely for the purpose of hawking her latest album.

You know, the one that had “BUY IT!” stamped on her butt?
