Chanel Jump Boots
Manolo says, This is the sort of item that gives luxury goods the bad name, and makes those who buy them seem silly.
Not because jump boots are not useful and very stylish in their way, but because the best jump boots in the whole world can be purchased for the the mere $121, hundreds of American dollars below the inflated Chanel retail price.
And these $121 boots, what are they?
Go ask the paratrooper, he’ll tell you. They’re Corcorans. Anything else is for ‘legs’.

I was never a “sh*t-kicker boot” kind of gal but I dig those Corcorans. I know I’ll never find any, right?
I want an old beat-up vintage pair. I’m sure they never had any in a size I could wear.
I know theirs no need for the Chanel ones, but I actually kind of like the shape.

I view this the same way as civilians wearing cammo head to toe – go join the service and you’ll get to wear all the military gear you want!

I have the Corcorans. I wore them almost everyday in high school. I got them at an Army Surplus store for 40 dollars. So exciting to know I can dig them out again.

Roxy’s take…
Phyllis said it all. I’d think these were crass, even sans mine veteran status.
These say one is not only a highest-degree poseur, but also has far too much money and is far too stupid to spend it properly…

Army surplus stores have combat boots abound, especially black ones as now we in the Army have moved toward the desert tan ones.
But it’s the same as the woodland print being so popular. EW. I wear a uniform every day. Why wear it when I can wear awesome, beautiful civilian clothes???
Seriously people.
Though I would think it fun to try to wear designer boots with my uniform and see who noticed. Those Chanels look remarkably authentic. Except not.
