Crocs = Lumbering Slobs
Manolo says, the Manolo has just discovered this series of somewhat amusing viral commercials for the British website that sells the odious Crocs.
While these fake/not-so-fake advertisements made the Manolo chuckle, they also reconfirmed his opinion that the peoples who wear Crocs are mostly the smug and lumbering slobs.
Those ads suffer from the same problem as the UK version of the PC/Mac ads on which they’re modelled, ie the person playing the rival product is the funny guy and the person playing the product you’re supposed to buy is the straight man.
I like the croc guy’s voice. That is it. Everything else sucks.
Are these ads for real? I mean, they must be a joke, right?

Crocs to me are the equivalent of the jelly shoes from back in the 80′s. I seem to have this love-hate relationship with them…Yes, they are “fun”, but at the same time they are quite fugly.
Am I missing something?
Maybe this is targeted at guys or something?

I think it is targeted at habitual TV watchers. Man, woman… after so many hours of having your mind numbed it makes no difference what you are.
