		<description>I'm kind of sick of Meghan Cleary.  I don't find her that insightful or interesting.  I do find her over-played.  Her book premise is like one of those one dimensional "gift" books that you give someone when you only know one thing about them.

Giver: "Oh, I know you like shoes, so I got you this shoe book/keyring/ornament/frame/fill in the blank."

Givee, very politely and tactfully: "Wow!  Thank you"  Great.  : P

I hope I am not judged one dimensionaly by my shoes.  I wear almost everyone of those styles as I'm sure most women do.  Especially Manolo's readers.

		<description>I must disagree with this simplification of "the language of shoes". I am a creative artist and would not be caught dead in clogs. I dumped them after high school. They are clunky and unsafe - you can't trust them on stairs.</description>
