We Move Our Tails for You
Manolo says, Ayyyy! The Irony! One minute, you are looking like Hooters Girls, and the next you are escorting them off the plane for indecency.
P.S. Thanks to the lovely Judith in Umbria for reminding the Manolo of the old Continental Airlines motto.

I will have to ask my bf’s mom for pictures of when she worked for American Airlines.
Not so crazy about the gogo boots but these are a big improvement from what I saw the Southwest women wore a few years back. They looked like lesbian golfers - polo shirts, knee-length khaki shorts, and white sneakers w/ white crew socks. Not that I don’t like lesbians or golfers but I was suprised Southwest couldn’t spring for more professional looking uniforms.

“One minute” to the “next minute”? Those pics have to be at least 30-40 years old.
I am not a big SW fan, and its people may (or may not) have acted like jerks in this case. But it seems to me that has nothing much to do with how it dressed its then-”stewardesses” during the Era That Taste Forgot.

Hey! I was a hot pant wearer and I looked cute in them. As did those hostesses. At least we covered our nether cheeks.
I thought we were going forward, not backward. I’m for backing away from all the belly that’s showing, but I’m not for letting airline employees or passengers make sartorial hay with ticket holders.

As a former white go-go boot wearer, all I can say is, you go-go, girlfriends!
