I’ve seen that little toe trying to make a run for it in a number of other pictures. Shame on you Anna.

I have an Anna Wintour question:
She’s always photographed wearing beautiful clothes, but the total effect is always un-beautiful. Why is that? Is it the stupid hairstyle? The fact that nothing on her really goes together? The sunglasses that make her look like a large, predatory insect?
What is it?
I thought she was some hard core beatch. So why is she sitting all wrapped up in herself? Seems so tight, defensive, insecure. Only her pinky toe dares to disobey. Plus is she smiling?!
It makes me cringe to see a pinky toe popping out of a shoe–kind of like fingernails on a blackboard! Where’s her assistant? She needs a pinky toe wrangler, pronto.
Can you blame it? Don’t we all get tired of the same ol’ scenery? Where are the fabulous Manolos?
She can’t rock that hair. That blunt cut is severe. She should know better than to go to Supercuts.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….if she is such that she can be in charge of VOGUE, why doesn’t she apply some of it to herself?
That hair is scary.
Oh dear god… it always pains me so to see the little piggies crammed into their mean little high-heeled pens, so desperate for escape. One should always, ALWAYS check sandals to be sure that one’s toes are well presented, or else choose the elegant peep-toe or closed-toe shoe.
This is pretty awful. I agree with KikiBelle, this can’t be comfortable for that poor pinky toe. It’s like having a four finger glove with the lone, exposed finger sufferinf from cold and frostbite.

I think that one of Wintour’s problems is that she is a natural brunette who (sigh!) like so many brunettes, would rather be a blonde, so she has had her hair bleached to blonde-y reddish brown and wears blonde-y beige clothes and shoes that are not the most flattering shade for her. Of course the escaped toe is creepy.
This is precisely why I will not wear those like this.
