I don’t know if this is Helen Mirren, but having googled some images she does not have fine legs and delicate ankles. Which just goes to show that they’re something which you are born with, or not, and can be slightly improved but not altered.
I’m not sure if this is Helen Mirren or not - but skinny ankles are not always wonderful. I have skinny ankles, with a very high arch and a very thin foot. The only shoes that have ever fit me in my entire life are orthopedic ones with special inserts and special lifts. Believe me, 60 years of shoes that hurt your feet is not fun!
Hester I completely agree! I have tiny ankles and a high arch - and all shoes, no matter how well made hurt my feet somehow. I either can’t wear them for long periods of time, like any heels (like my Gucci stilettos or Prada kitten heels - low or high, it doesn’t matter) or they don’t support my feet enough to walk long walks in them (like how my Prada sport ballet flats make my ankles hurt during a long walk). The only shoes that don’t hurt me are tennis shoes/sneakers - hence the reason why I don’t wear the super fabulous shoes very often.
I could only hope that at 62 I’ll be physically able to wear “lucky”shoes like that. At 20 I certainly can’t… I mean… not that I’ve ever tried… Yeah…
Oh Helen Mirren, you are amazing.

If this is true it means that Helen Mirren has the same awful legs as me which changes everything.

Awful? No. She apparently doesn`t have Pretty Ankles Genes, but still her legs are perfectly okay.

I think it’s personalities 1-12 of Bai Ling. The cowboy boots make me think so.

If I didn’t know better, I’d sat Bette Midler. But, by “know better” I mean, we’ve already had her and she has fabulous ankles.
