Frequently, comfort shoes don't take orthotics, because they've added cushioning to the arch, which makes it impossible to get the orthotics in. But New Balance makes my sneakers as well- they are good for all the non traditional sizes! I have had good luck with a company called Hitchcock Shoes that specializes in wide shoes for men.
