Definitely cold-weather clothing used as accessories in warm weather -- like chunky scarves worn when it's only 65 or 70 degrees. I've seen men and women doing this in the last year, and it drives me crazy.

The fedora combined with the very girlie dress. A few ladies can carry this off, but many more than a few wear this look.

Mine are of the "weird women's cuts" variety.
My body proportions are fairly close to those manufacturers' clothing size charts, yet most of the clothes I see in stores don't come anywhere close to flattering or fitting...

Those short cap sleeves that pretty much all short-sleeve t-shirts in the juniors and misses section have. I don't have meaty arms, but they are still less than flattering. More importantly, they freeze your arms after the slightest temperature drop!

Shirts and jackets cut with a "wide body, stick arms" cut, even for smaller sizes. Pretty much everything I've seen in department stores has this cut nowadays.Leggings. The "K-Mart Soccer Mom" look on anyone who isn't naturally built like a stick.
Spaghetti straps, if only because of the sheer number of clueless people who wear their regular bras with them. And I completely agree with the people at the original link who said bias-cut fabric, empire waistlines (look like maternity wear on most people), and low-rise jeans.

Hideous, hideous. While the bubble skirt is indeed odious, I have to say that I view flip flops (different from sandals, you know) as detrimental to society. They are a definitely a contributing factor to the "Wal-Mart"-ization of America. In what world is it OK to wear beach shoes to formal occasions like weddings, bat mitzvahs or board meetings?

Please.
