Whose Shoes Wednesday…The Answer
Manolo asked, whose shoes?

Manolo answers, the Kathy Griffin!
Congratulations to the Manolo’s internet friend Cat, who was the first to identify whose shoes.
The Manolo loves the Kathy Griffin. Yes, she is crude, over-the-top, and somewhat out-of-control with the plastic surgery and the hair coloring, but for all of that she is exceedingly funny and her fashion sense is not bad.

It was those tartan pants that tipped me off. :)

Meh. I’ve yet to be enthralled by the Kathy. I had the same initial reaction to Roseanne. But I’ll try to keep an open mind.

Like the shoes; love the Griff. She seems like she would be a hi-larious friend to hang with. My own BFF is a no-holds-barred, irreverent and witty redhead, so maybe I’m partial.

I SO, SO, SO used to love everything Kathy. I would watch her “Life on the D List” over and over. I just thought she was hilarious.
But then came the “Jesus can suck it” moment and….well I fell right out of love. That painful, abrupt, wide-eyed moment when you fall out of a stranger’s bed with a hang-over. Finito.
Bummer too because now she won’t see any of my money making it’s way to her coffers, and part of her schtick is the money-grubbing whore bit.
Alas.

Aw, well. As far as her “Jesus” moment; every Catholic girl gets a bit cranky now and then.

I have always found Kathy to be highly amusing, but I also am partial to irreverent smart mouths.
As for the Jesus moment, it didn’t offend me anymore than entertainers or sports figures praising the Lord for whatever petty triumph they have achieved or petty need they have.

She’s fabulous, enough said.

Her fashion sense is not bad? As Amy Poehler might say, really? Really, Manolo? Tartan pants? Glitter top, really? I am more than a bit suprised,
