I'm loving the gold AND the peep-toe. It's so nice to be able to have a shoe that isn't closed up that you can wear in the winter, especially when you're stuck in the northeast under a foot of snow! I wish I had seen these shoes earlier...

I tend to prefer peep toes over closed toes (they look fantastic with opaque hose), but when you spend a lot of time in a wet climate such as Seattle, they aren't always practical.

I love peeptoes. I think they look good with opaque hose. Otherwise go with the bare legs. Sheer hose turns me off even with a closed toe, and if you're going to a holiday party, how much time are you going to spend outside anyway? Your toes will survive the run up to the door!

Those are beautiful - I love a nice creamy gold. By the way, on the peeptoe issue, I know I've seen tights/hose that end at the toes with a toe bar like a pair of flip flops. Your legs and feet are covered, but uncovered at at the toe. The front of the shoe conceals the "hem" of the tights. Only thing you have to be careful of is that you don't get tights too dark or you'll have a noticeably lighter coloured big toe from your foot!

Livia - I agree RE the peep toes. There are so many of them around and I always feel it's wrong to wear them with hosiery. Unfortunately I don't have the legs/feet/live in the right climate to go without. Maybe The Manolo will give us his thoughts on this issue some time?

Why, oh why must there always be a freaking peep toe? This shoe would be a complete stunner if it only had a closed toe.
