You don't remake Herby the Lovebug using a Scion Shoebox, you don't remake Dukes of Hazzard using a Porsche, so why butcher Knight Rider with that boxy bulldog Mustang? Don't get me wrong, the Mustang is nice, but does it fit the role of KITT? Heck no, not even close. This show is suicide on NBC's part because fans of the original are going to hate this from the get-go. The whole car looks like someone's crappy Photoshop. The functions are lame; 80's KITT's Turbo Jump and wall-crashing abilities are better than K3000's Google Search and Nanobots anyday. The dialogue was too PC for me, and I'm GHEY!. The "Maybe that's why 75% of marriages end in divorce" joke was unecessary, as were the alt lifestyle cops. Westboro Baptist Church would probably have a field day with this show, lulz. This would’ve made a way better KITT, if only NBC waited.
