With Mr Mole, it is not the outside what matters, it is what is on the inside. Like good books and wine.

Mr. Mole has neo-victorian hotness. He looks like the stern but jolly upper-middle class family man of the later part of the previous-previous century, the sort that takes coffee in a cafe with his friends and supports his daughter as she breaks into university. And he paints.

When you say that Mickey Rooney has more class and talent, you actually mean no class or talent, right? I know he's from another generation and blah, blah, blah, but it's hard to overlook his oh-so-nuanced (racist) portrayal, in yellowface (!), of Mr. Yunioshi in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and his wonderfully sensitive description of African Americans as, what was it again? Colored? Negro?
However, if you're trying to say that Tom has less than no class, then I understand completely. It's so hard to determine tone online.
