Dolce and Gabbana for the Spring
Manolo says, the Manolo commends to you these marvelous white and navy peep-toe pumps from the Dolce and the Gabbana. Are they not beautiful?
What’s that you say, “But Manolo, it is not yet the summer time. I cannot possibly wear the white shoes before the Day of Memorializing.”
Ha! The Manolo scoffs as such fashion timidity.
Are you not the confident, super fantastic, adult person, one who is fully capable of charting her own way in the world? Indeed, you are fashionable woman, hear you roar!
Do not worry what the petty arbiters of outmoded fashion standards say, this is the beautiful shoe, one that can be worn anytime the weather warms. Remember the Manolo’s motto: If the shoe looks good, wear it!

Thanks, Manolo! I happened to wear white sandals today, even though it’s chilly here in Denver. I can’t wear my dress shoes or riding boots anymore due to a heel spur.

Ayyyy! I have to keep repeating myself…..unless one is a nurse or playing tennis white shoes should never be worn at any time of the year. They make the feets look enormous, get scuffed and dirty quickly and are just in general not an elegant look. I think they always look tacky – but chacun a son gout.
Strappy white sandals aren’t too bad, though.

I am in need of help, I want to buy my wife a few pairs of manolo’s but want to make sure I have the right size. She is a 9.5 american and want to make sure I have the right conversion. Any help would be appreciated.

She should be a European size 41. Any place that you can buy the Manolo will be very helpful. You can even steal one of her favorite shoes and take it with you to be sure. Be careful of online auction sites, they list the wrong size for the European conversations half the time and even the big E*** one said 80% of the designer shoes listed are probably fakes. You can trust the on line big stores like the ones listed here to deliver genuine product.

These remind me of Art Deco airplanes! Or escalators! I can’t help but envision them as being many stories tall in real life – maybe that supports the theory that they make people’s feet look big :)
