Boots are indespensible - the weather is vile 10 months out of 12. Leslie need not worry - she can safely wear boots in Ireland right up to July! She should also bring a cute woollen beret, as she'll certainly need it. Incidentally, that's the best description of modern Ireland I've ever heard.
